Re: New Year Krispy Kremes Meet
Okay, shall we call it 13th Jan at 7.00pm then. Could some kind mod change the Title to include date and time. Sorry Kerry not trying to take over your job.
Was it just me or did I hear mention of A Krispy Kremes Meet being arranged for January? If so can I make a request for a Wednesday Night Meet either 6th or 13th. You know how I like to book things in my diary.
I've got the K-Tec one fitted and have had no problems with scrapeage even with four up. The ride is softer than the Cup suspension but I use mine for Fast Road and as a daily driver. The only time I find it uncomfortable is on all of the crap roads in Southampton with patches and pot holes. The...
The carbon roof is a vinyl wrap thought it would be different. The coilies are the K Tec Cup ones. Excellent bit of kit and really change the handling of the car for the better plus look wicked.
Coilies have settled really well now so not going to wind them done. Had a bump with a kerb hence the bad tape.
Cheers for the positive comments.
Fletch I was really disappointed that I got home and hardly any differeence. Means I won't be spending anytime over Christmas hols cleaning it...
most people who know me reckon I'm a Detail freak and as I have kept my mileage down assume I don't drive my car except to meets and shows. Had a morning to myself today and am seriously fed up of Christmas prep so decided to do one of the above.
Had to be the second option, so thought...
Type 3 Detectives are the Dons when it comes to aircooled Dubs that are not Beetles or Vans. Awesome bit of machinery and crossing genres.
Now an air cooled MK1 Clio?
Fletch, I can't believe that you've posted dirty pics up. Nice location and pics, thinking of going out for a blast tomorrow as fed up of Xmas shopping. Need to get mine looking dirty as it still looks immaculate and I haven't washed it for over a month now
Love the wheels but not in that colour with silver, black or antracite would be better. Like the seat, getting the same for a passenger seat or doing without.
Think you know the answer and you should follow what your heart is telling you. Personally I love LY and the only regret I have about my car is that I didn't search hard enough for a LY.
I'm sure it will come back to you. Just an indication of where the scene is at the moment. Modifying is just for performance nowadays rather than look. If you go for different and new looks then you'll get slated on here. If you're building a track weapon then you're hailed as a god. Just go...
Now if you'd dropped a 182 engine in it and some Turinis and recaro Trendlines you would have had the perfect van and saved having to disguise it all with a bodykit and lairy paintjob.
I can see that you are not going to get a lot of love for that on here. Good job undobtedly but it's too modified for the majority of people on this forum.
