Rub them with SRP and a microfibre cloth for a while and see what happens. I was going to suggest SRP. Prime is good on chrome stuff tho, i know its expensive.

Its like Autosmart, basically bulk valeting stuff. They do some good stuff, and some not so good. Revolution is the wheel cleaner they offer. Alkaline, f**king strong and burns when you get it on your skin. Dilutes really well. Also doubles up as a strong TFR, I often douse heavily soiled...

I dont use waffle weave although its one of the best ways. A very short Pile MF cloth is best for me, particularly the Gtechniq blue ones or similar. A good glass cleaner is also important - 3M as people have mentioned is good, but it aint got s**t on AF Crystal. Ill be buying a bulk tub of it...

24 hours between coats is ideal - Id wait till you wash it then re apply a layer. Youll get no benefit from the second coat so soon either IMO.

TBH mate I always re apply once the beading drops as thats what I like, so whenever youre ready to re apply. In my case thats usually 4-5 washes depending on the weather. If you want to leave it longer however itll sheet for months. Just what youre into I guess.
