No, cleanyourcar.co.uk Poorboys Blackhole. Its a glaze - bit like SRP but non abrasive, will also give a wetter look. Dont expect miracles though. Top it with a wax. AutoGlym HD wax maybe as you can get that at halfrauds.

Think a good machine polish to remove dead clear coat topped with a high carnuba content wax will do the trick tbh! Zymol Carbon, Vics red......

Just practice mate. Rotary has a lot more bite than a DA. Nothing to be ashamed of, im sure we've all done it in the beginning. Use less polish. Also be mindful of how much pressure you apply, let the pad do the work to begin with then apply a little pressure if youre confident it needs it.
