1.2's arn't fast and arn't fun compared to other cars. However It's the only car I have any I have fun driving it on a good piece of road. Put it this way, i'd rather have my 1.2 on the ring than a 1*2 in a traffic jam on the M6.

I had a look at this on pistonheads the other day aswell, looked a bargin. Slightly high mileage but as long as its maintained properly that won't be an issue, you know your stuff on cars. Very good buy mate.

I've seen 108mph on the clocks in my 1.2 16v, very steep down hill section of my own private motorway, had very little else to give tbh.

Most modern cars don't do 0-60 in 7 seconds realy do they. You average saloon is around 9-10 seconds, average supermini 11-13, SUV 9-12.... They're not very quick is a straight line granted, but if you work out an average 0-60 time of all cars on the roads in Britain, I bet the RS Clio's are...

Sorry to hear mate, at least it is only a wheel. What is the best thing to do in a realy slow slide in the snow then? I just normally brake lightly, seems to help. Obviously in a normal skid situation you wouldn't brake, you would use the throttle to try and get the fronts to grip again...

Terrible out on the roads, I took it very very easy because i'm determined not to have a bump. ABS is shite aswell, it kicks in too early and doesn't realy help in the snow.

Gutted for you mate, you certainly arn't the only one to crash today, was expecting a few when i logged on today :( There was 3 crashes in 5 minutes in a road near work. Sounds like an insurance job, unfortunately because i'm presuming your quite a young driver so its not an ideal thing to do.
