Good point that sir.
It would be a huge upgrade in handling too.
I know the 1.4/6 and dci's have uprated suspension on them over the 1.2 but I doubt it makes that much difference.
I'm with Justin. Thats the one. Looks like a good car that with FSH and good tyres all around.
Nock him down £500 though. Seen cars of that quality go all day for £5500 in this current climate.
I'd go for the 1.6 mate. The 1.4 won't seem like as much of an upgrade. Its always best to wait around for a car that you realy want than rush into one you don't.
Insurance won't be that much different.
You must be joking. The old 1.2 8V Corsa's only had 45bhp. A mate had one, I loved it to pieces he was the 1st one of us to drive so we used to go all over in it. Going to Alton Towers was fun, the back wheel would wine over 70mph if it got there.
My 1.2 was a country mile ahead of it once...
172 Cup looks far better than a 182 Cup imo.
There is no difference between the looks apart from the exahust and the wheels. The wheels are better on the 172 cup anyway because everybody puts turini's on there 172/182 anyway.
^^^ If thats your 172 in your advatar your not insured though. Those wheels are aftermarket, your 22 = no insruance.
Exactly the problem with Directline. Hence why I will never be insured with them again.
+1 Why would she be so bothered what you drive.
I'd of just come back with fine i'm getting a 182 if your willing to break up over what car I drive then it's obviously not worth us being together.....
Fiesta ST is a nice car though, Fair play mate.
Re: Mk1 Hybrid Project
Jord the M6 is 230 miles long  wouldn't fancy doing that several times in a stripped Mk1 tbh :approve:
However I agree with Dave, better to take no risks with engines where you no nothing of the history, If you want something doing do it yourself....
3 Lovely Cars.
However, How do the lower seats actually change the physical handling properties of the car? All they do is improve the driving position so it is more comfortable to drive.
