My front bumper needs spraying too, not sure if i can be bothered getting it done though.
Whats a ball park figure for getting it done as i'm planning to get rid in just under 6 months so don't want to spend a lot on it.
£8200 for a cup is a disgrace whether its a very late 04 plate one with CC like this or not.
That is worth £4500 on a very good day for the seller.
I'd personally only be prepared to pay £4000 for that, its a buyers market.
As above judging by the blue 'i' its an 80.
Cracking car that btw mate. Good spec with AC and the dci 80 engine is good too, average 55mpg and still be faster than a 1.2 16v.
anything from 70-139.
My mpg if i'm just around town doing about 30 miles a week atm is about 30mpg but on the motorway being careful I managed 56.3 MPG over 90 miles so to £10 I'd do 139 miles.
Thats all well and good but if the buyer asks you would have to tell them that you have removed it.
That wouldn't work on me anyway. For a start you can tell when the air con is on as it go's clearly colder, the only way you may not notice is if it was -2 outside when they tested the...
People get insured on them for 1.5-2K @ 19 with 1/2ncb mate so I would carry on searching.
Would you not consider a ph1 172 and insure it tpft, thats my plan. I'm looking to get it on 31st august because i get ncb on 30th and i'vbe been getting quotes off bell every couple of months and its...
What engine is it mate?
I'd recommend aftermarket alloys, RS grill, coilovers.
If its the TCE engine aswell, get it remaped and maybe an induction kit to get a bit more noise.
To be fair the R26R has C/C.
However its your car mate and a very good one it is too.
I'd just be a bit worried about resale value etc however its already been cammed etc so go for it.
What weight are you aiming for? How much weight can come out of the 197? Are you going to retain the...
Yes it does need the cambelt doing. I'd also recommend doing the waterpump too its realy easy to do when the belts are off and will be more cost efficient in the long run.
£480 for both belts and full service seems very reasonable to me.
Re: The PH1 172 Aprreciation Thread.
Love ph1's. Definately in the market for one in september. Have been thinking about stretching my budget to a ph2 but tbh the ph1 just looks (and drives according to around 90% of people) better than the ph2 imo.
Also they're cheaper to tax, insure, and...
True. Thats with a decat and removed centre box aswell. It realy does sound epic though.
To be fair without the centre box it certainly doesn't sound any quieter than the yozzasport, however that is exactly what he wanted.
I'd probably go down the same route too, its cheaper than the yozza...
