I noticed a definite power improvement on my PH-1 172 after fitting a set of Angel Works matched inlets.
Noticeably smoother to drive.
Increased MPG.
At RStuning my PH-1 172 made 187.4bhp / 167ft.lb with JUST matched inlets, ITG panel filter, Yozzasport race system and a cup aux set-up.
I was considering 421 cat cams on my old freaky PH-1, that made 187bhp / 167ft.lb (Yozza race system, cup aux set-up, matched inlets) at RStuning in Leeds.
But, Paul advised me not to bother as he didn't think I would see any 'real' gain, so I will be really interested to see your results Laine...
I am 99% sure they run the same front hubs, but just want to confirm with the experts ;)
Also, does anybody have the 172 wheel bearing dimensions, I've had a quick search but cannot find a definitive answer.
Not sure if that's sarcastic or genuine LOL!?!?!?
But yeah, GSF sell the mounts, I fitted a set to the GF's 172 before Christmas.. You don't realise how worn they are until new ones are fitted :)
Re: Harphamominom's Ph1 Project
The sleeve join on the back box is loose and has quite long cut outs in it, causing the system to blow.
The supplied clamp isnt ideal, it needs some more exhaust sealer and a proper band clamp fitting.
