I did mine a few months ago and cut off approx 2cm, went back to it this weekend just gone and probably cut the same off again.
The female sleeve now pretty much bottoms out on the male section you cut so I wouldn't want to...
Fitted a powerflexed dogbone mount, highly recommended! Also chopped a bit more off the gear linkage under the car to bring the gearstick a bit further back.
Now feel shite,I'm dying of a cold and it was bloody freezing outside!
Hi I'm thinking of giving my plugs, coil and leads a refresh, has anyone used the coil Renparts offer?

Whilst I've not got a huge problem with buying genuine if people have used these with good results it seems silly not to save 30-odd quid.
Any...
Worth noting it's FAR easier if you have both front wheels off the ground. The first time I tried to get mine back together I only had the drivers side of the ground, with the the passenger side still on the floor you're fighting against the anti roll bar when trying to reattached the ball...
The first one with the blue bit of pipe normally connects to the acoustic valve in the NSF wheel arch. People remove them to increase induction noise a bit and just bung the pipe like yours. The second one I can't remember off the top of my head without looking at my car but I'm sure someone...
Hi everyone my brother got an rstuner today and thought I'd plug my car in to see if there were any fault codes.
This is what flagged up.
What's the likely fix for the canister purge fault? It's not been removed as I can still see it in the drivers wheel arch, do I need to do anything? Will...
My friend serviced the silver one, brother changed the spark plugs in the black one. Mine got a replacement rear caliper, new rear pads and and new os cv boot. All good until I tried to drive and was greeted by a light grinding noise and no drive, that'll be the CV joint not clicked back...
Lowered the drivers seat, adjusted the gearstick back so 3rd and 5th aren't such a long reach, fitted new handbrake cables, discovered I need a new NSR caliper :( and cleaned the drivers seat belt.
Just need to do the other side now!
Hi guys just after a quick bit of advice,
I've read all the various threads and repair manuals about changing the aux belt kit and I confident I can swap it over with no probs (famous last words!) but after receiving my aux belt kit today I just wanted to know how tight the bolt needs to be that...
Inside line is that after 10 years the batteries are still expected to be at 80% life, so if they've got that right battery life shouldn't be a worry for a fair while.
Just a quick update incase its of any use to anyone else.
I recently fitted a second hand cat and a new centre exhaust section as mine was blowing badly. When changing the cat over I couldn't get the pre cat lambda sensor out. I replaced it with a Bosch one from eurocarparts and its driven fine...
