how come most of you are paying so much?
im only 26 and my renewal quote is £583. thats fullt comp, 7yncb. and the gf is a named driver too. im with greenlight.
imo, going lower than 30/40mm on std shocks with lowering springs is not a great idea. it will kilol the shocks in no time. best bet is to get some coilovers that are designed to sit that low.
i have removed mine alltogether! i was fed up with them always leaking. i bunged the pipes up, removed the washer jets and plugged the holes with little rubber grommets. looks neater imo too. and i dont get all watermarks on my clean car.
i rate hankook v12's in 205/45/16.
i also like yoko parada spec2 but you might struggle to find them in 16"
pe2's are good but quite a lot more expensive than the other 2 and not worth the extra money over the v12's imo.
engine hoist mounts, tar sheets, fog lights, lighter wheels, non power steering rack, ss exhaust, sound insulation, unnesecary interior, steering wheel, bucket seats, smaller battery.
yeah, both prolines and sportlines are very much the same in ride quality in my experience. if you want all out comfort then keep the std springs. if you want no drop in height but improved/tighter handling then prolines. and if you want a drop in height and improved/tighter handling then its...
thats rubbish. maybe if you floor it everywhere! mine lasted 14000 miles. thats with mixed driving. they are not a long lasting tyre but they tend to last more than 5k if you don't drive like a t**t.
the hankook v12's that i have on now do seem a better tyre tho and seem to be lasting well.
