dont worry to much, if there is not a plug for it.
Reno make the looms pretty much standard, so if one model dont have a certain feature they dont have to make a seperate loom for it, cost saving. (if you get my drift)
You can fit that easy if you have any noodle!!
Probably take a day or two to get it right, dont forget when you speak to reno dealers you speak to either parts or reception staff who aint technically minded.
Oh and the nav systems dont connect to the ECU..wtf are they on.
If you need to...
You had a new screen fited recently?
If not the best way to find the leak is to remove the seats and carpet etc, you will need to anyway to dry them out or they wont smell nice in a few months.
Then get in your car, get a mate to spray the car with a hose or pressure washer then look to see...
Not worth retro fitting a Genuine nav system on your car, reno prices for te parts will cost more than a new decent VDO system, rough prices for nav parts below
Nav computer 1300
Screen 800
Dash 400 to 500
Plus wiring etc probably another 1000
So best to just get a dash and fit a vdo nav...
That totally sucks, what a sad world we live in now!
Anyway, why not get a hidden switch fitted to your car to immobilise it even if you have the key.
Would not be to much hard work, drop the steering cowling down, tap into the supply for the decoder ring (only 3 wires IIRC)and fit a switch...
PMSL at this quote....
Oh, and I don’t see how theyll be future cult classics, when they wont out last the manufactures warrantee!! ;)
Sorry but that sounds just like a reno!!!
;)
get this checked ASAP, if the aux belt gets into the timing belt casing it will cause the belt to jump and bugger ya engine up.
Im sure reno have issued a tech note regarding this problem.
I have the brake light you need in stock, new as well.
You will need it, you will also need to make some minor wiring modifications for it to fit as the electrical plug is different on cup brake lights.
PM me with a decent offer and its yours.
75.00 is a bargain price mate.
