i too will most probs be down lakeside,
and yes, it was very busy last weekend, not sure about "good" was a lot of halfords gear and body kits on display!
ill probs be heading to the excel centre with ian after seeing as the finnish line for my clio is in sight!
just to have my say,
i have lugs on my seat subfames,
bolted the harness to that through the clip, passed fine,
ab and serv light made no difference,
those wheels when through an MOT a while back with a clean ticket,
though they did comment and say "you know those tyres are too small for...
it's also because everyone that has the slightest knock is claiming a few thousand pounds personal injury now due to the number of adverts on TV promising people free money!
im definatley going up the night before,
i did it at silly o'clock last night and it ruined the day for me abit being so tired!
plus i intend to go on the track this year so i want to be on the ball!
dont forget me dan! ill be repping the mk1
and will it be an issue that i have a slight oil leak in my clio??
it is very small, i have to add about half a litre a month!
well then this poses another problem for me,
i wanted to bleed my brakes, but even though ive slacked the bleed nipple (giggity)
and i pumped the pedal after fitting a non return valve thing, and nothing seems to be happening!
even though you try and match the sizes, 17s will still come out much bigger,
i had 17s on 205/40/17 and it looked awful, very high and bad,
and the brakes will looks swamped behind them!
tyres are a joke, a bottom of the barrel budget will cost around 50,
where as 195/50/15, 50 can get you...
front likes look awful,
and as said, show cages have no strength what so ever,
so in the even of a crash, the weight on those harnesses will bend the cage down as they go straight making them completely slack and allowing you to fly forward another foot into the steering wheel before jecking...
Cam cover, is that the one directly under the rocker cover?? If so I've literally just bought one lol,
Sorry I'm going through phones like loo roll atm,
Pm me your number/bbm/ping chat, what ever you have lol
Cheers dude, ye really sorry about the hammer, ill drop it round later this eve dude!
Providing I don't end up in a ditch because of this bump steer lol
Dan you're on cliosport!!??!!??!!??!!??
Formula one? Ill look them up after I've fitted my rod ends, seems easier than going down the a13 lol
And I'm not sure if I have play in the rack, you can move the wheels slightly by hand, but there are no clunks or anything!
cheers for the quote dude.
i may have a go for piece of mind,
but it looks like the kind of thing i lack the patience to do myself lol
if i get 4wheel alignment done from a shop (such as elite)
will the also loosen up the rear beam mounts in order to adjust the rear tracking like in the above...
yes they should fit, (might bt worth measuring your bolt spacing quickly)
yes they work, theyre the same as the "raceland" kit or the "Rokkor" kit,
i suggest you grab a set because they come up for sale, then disappear for a while,
i had them on my old clio,
theyre very good for a set of...
i am seriously swaying toward the idea of wrapping it,
because those pics look stunning!!
i wouldnt be much help wrapping it,
i struggled at fitting a sunstrip!! lol
but would be amazing if you could lend a hand doing it, i dont mind giving you some money for the trouble!
did they use camber correction bolts??
i got some off ebay saying they were by eibach but they seem abit shite!
ill get my rod ends on and ill probs look them up!!
cheers dude
nope wouldnt have been me that said about elite!
where abouts are they,
and what did they do to yours to make it so good?
roundabouts are usually fine,
when actually taking a turn while accelerating from lowish speed its fine,
its more an issue going in a straight line, youll go over a...
oh wow, thats a much better pics, why didnt i use that!!
the camber hasnt really made it worse, it was just as bad before,
ill get the brakes all refurbed (new carriers, discs, pads, fluid are all enroute)
and get the rod ends changed and tracking done
then ill look at getting the geometry...
top mounts are also new!
and oooooo low blow!
and danny its not shockingly low
sorry if its a bad pic, its just to show the height,
i fitted camber correction bolts also and dialed in some camber,
the problem hasnt got any better or any worse.
