I started off with a Fuji S5000 and thought that I needed to move up a notch. Really is a world of difference using a DSLR. My choice was easily influenced by ukaskew's epic pics and he used a D50.
Chris I've got a Nikon D50 which I got off the Bay of Plenty and have only just begun to tap into its potential. Standard lens kit and also have a Sigma 70 - 200mm lens.
The all in price was under £200 which was well under what Raccoon quoted me who were at Trax offering the roof service for £225 yesterday. When I went to them for a quote they said £300 + VAT. They only needed the car for a couple of hours as well.
Will answer pms soon.
Thanks for the kind comments. It was not a home job but was done by Totally Dynamic who have a number of locations throughout the Country. I went to the one in Totton and received an excellent and professional job. If anyone would like the information I can pm them the details.
Couple more...
Alright have been steadily downloading my Trax photos all evening and will put up two posts. This is my first which looks at just Clios. Then the other will be for other cars and sights. Sorry if there is a strong Southern Central theme going but I get told off by the Area rep for never posting...
Hang about!!! I bought a Hoodie and didn't get a packet of Love Hearts. The way my luck is going today, I'll wait for the speeding tickets to drop through the letter box over the next few weeks then.
Great pics Nik and a big thanks from all of us for organising the club stand. It was great to be there when the dilbert from Peugeot Sport was trying to find out what we offered and seeing how professional our club seems compared to others.
Although a newsletter delivered by carrier pigeon...
As everyone has been so kind and not slated my car or even shown any pics of it from Trax I thought that I should show this in a mini thread of its own.
Now to those who say it's crap, tough, it's my car and I did it because I thought it looked good. I am not putting these pictures hoping...
Bloody hell Fletch where's photos of my car?
Beginning to think you love Tim more than me and Chris. At least we waited for you to catch up with us on the way home.
/\ Yeah and thanks for dumping most of the engine contents on the front of my car. I was parked behind this gas car. It must have been running very rich.
Kerry no pics of my mod for Trax. :nono:
Whenever Kerry decides to organise one. we are quite a sociable bunch and were outside talking until quite late. Have to see what plans we come up with after Trax. I reckon a pub meet in the New Forest sounds good.
Fletch :nono: Been there done that. What is it about you Iceburg guys. We all know that the only true RS Silver is a Titanium. :rasp: Spotted a 52 reg Iceburg leaving Hampshire Pageant of Transport today and thought it might have been you.
Hang about, I had my Tripod as well. Just because it's small and compact doesn't mean it isn't useful. Only on CS could we start a tripod envy thread. lol
Been offered a good deal on a set of Lenso BSXs. Have checked and they do a 16" with a 100 PCD fitting and an ET of 38. If my research works out these would bolt straight on. Has anyone done this and have any comments about them.
Also is there any kind Photoshop master who would be willing to...
