Hi there guys changed the gearbox oil the other day, I put 3 and a bit litres in as per the threads say on here. Am I right in saying that if the oil comes out of the wingnut where you fill the gearbox up it has to much in it? Just opened mine up and a good 1/4 of a litre came out of the box and...
So a little bit of an update, about 2 months ago the Cup suffered a gearbox failure. It had a reasonably hard time tbh with a bit of Santa Pod etc etc so its been off the road for a while. Last weekend I got another box back from the refurbers and got cracking with Mike (Budgie) and Ollie82 off...
I've heard from a few people that even the Eibachs still eat shocks so that could be more expensive in the long run but i'd say if you can live with a slightly harder ride go for a cheapish set of coilovers.

Lol, because 106's/saxos are cheaper to modify! I've got the best of both worlds, i've got one of each! Though that could be worst of both worlds... lol
Remember most of the weight is over the front wheels and most of the pressure when driving hard is over the front also, I never had a problem when I had them as long as your sensible. If there was a 50/50 split in weight then i'd run similar tyres front to rear.
