Some pictures from before the BGW anyway:

I'd be going for an OEM one too. Thing is, I'm fairly sure they're not that much cheaper brand new than a GV lip IIRC.
£150 from MX5 parts.

Sorry to drag up an old thread, but this is a cracking tutorial Ed! It'll obviously never be quite the same as a proper rig shot, but you can make a decent effort at replicating one.
Had a quick go myself, it's not perfect and you can definitely tell it's a photoshop (wheels are a dead giveaway)...
It's cleeeaaan!
I'd go for a GT spoiler (I think?). The one that's on Chris' anyway. I'd also add the RenaultSport side skirt things since you've got the big splitter... Then you're a set of Speedlines away from perfec! ;)
Yeah, I clearly stated what I'm after next.
I keep thinking I could go on with it and do what I wanted to do to it in the first place, but I'm still not sure I'd be left with something I'm happy with.. but just looking at it tonight and driving it made me remember what a great car it is, so I'm...
I'll not lie, mine is very of it's age in terms of condition - but I feel I've priced it accordingly and stated it clearly enough in the advert. There are quite a lot of stonechips around the front end (So it's obviously been driven properly!) and some very small patches of rust here and there...
Thank you very much sir!
They've all just wanting a little bit too much off the asking price, which is fair enough - I'm aiming at a very niche market I guess.
I've said it before, but it's mental that what was regarded by some as the best hot hatch of the 1990's is now worth about £700 tops...
Wee little update - New passenger indicator arrived today, so I got that swiftly fitted; I now have matching indicators. Exciting, I know.
Also used up the rest of the LaminX that I had lying around and did the dipped beams too, not sure if I like, but I don't really care anymore.

I like to have my cars set up quite soft, bit of toe in at the rear end and a small amount of toe out at the front; but the normal settings I apply make the 911's bottom out way too easily - even the front end! Very strange. More tinkering needed...
I wouldn't bother with just a 1.6.
It's as much hassle as swapping an F4R, but you don't get the power at the end of it...
It'd be easier switching interiors and putting the PH2 front end on your RSI TBH. Although you'd be left with a worthless PH2/PH1 1.2 mutant...
Save yourself the effort...

They've got different bumpers on BTW, I'd never run that front bumper with that rear!
