I was getting about 27mpg on normal unleaded, that went up to 34 using VPower... might be worth a try?

IMO The front end looks rather dated being colour coded, weirdly!

I'd keep the hardtop gloss - it'll look just as good and will cost nothing tbh!

If the body is in good shape I don't mind paying a bit over, but there's no way I'm paying 2 grand for a 17 year old car with 111k on the clock, no matter how good it is... I'll see if they'll budge anyway, if not its no big deal tbh. Plus I can't afford that anyway. Not at the moment.

Found this MX5, perfect for me spec wise, its just about 500 quid overpriced... Going to have a look anyway on Thursday and see if they'll budge on the price at all...

I'm 20, and they wanted about £900 But P1's are cheaper to insure than the facelifts. Tried adding your mum or some other females as named drivers? Makes a hell of a difference.
