So off we went to Liverpool airport at 6:30am to catch a sleazyjet flight to Belfast. RallyJ met us at the airport, really nice bloke! Gave us a whistle stop tour of Belfast then we sorted the paperwork. off to the port for the Stena line back to Stranraer. Parked up then time to chill...

There's not much difference at the minute but in a couple of years good Ph1's will be more sort after (especially the rarer colours) Personally I would have a Ph1 over a Ph2 every day of the week. I just prefer how they look.

500 mile round trip to view my old V6 then did 200 miles to pick it up the following weekend. Might be going to Belfast on Saturday for a car. Can't beat a good road trip lol

I thought the same when I first saw the Mk7 but it has really grown on me, especially the GTD! Still not too sure on the GTi alloys & think the 19's look too big.

Nice mate! The wife has had a white mk5 GTi for 3 years now & loves it. As an all round car you can't get much better. Hopefully I will be ordering a mk7 gtd in the next few months as my next company car.

I have been looking at both cars recently & decided to go for another Ph1. I guarantee that the Ph1 will be the more sort after car in a few years time.

I used to prefer coded strips & did that on one of my other ph1's but I do prefer black now. Has anyone fitted ph2 side strips but painted them black? That might work?
