From what I've read and heard that was all down to faulty injectors... And people thrashing them from cold, causing a boost spike! All the ones that have gone bang where all various states of tune.. From stock to stage 2.

It's running the same boost pressure as a standard r26, just with more air and fuel ;)

I aaaaaaam back. 1600miles around France, Switzerland and the Alps me and the car are back in one piece! Over three tanks of 98ron and two tanks of 100ron Vpower (only £1.36 p/l in Switzerland!!) I've averaged 28mpg (a fair amount of motorway driving there and back).. So pretty much no change...

Well tomorrow I will be driving to the French Alps, around a 650mile trip... It will be interesting to see how the car performs :)

I brought most of the items in group buys or second hand off forum members.. It's roughly cost £1100 for all the 'performance parts' not bad for a 80bhp gain over standard ;) 258bhp at the wheels iirc :)

Paul can supply the injectors.... But they can also be had off the t'internet :) Mine are the 'stubby' versions, same physical size as the standard ones.

I wanted to keep the torque low'ish... The power is really usable like this and it wont eat the clutch ;)
