ahh sorry, was wrong about the valver power, never really got into them, i went straight for the F7R, and the difference is massive,
a much better starting point for tuning imo,
but its your car, look forward to seeing how the power mods go!
looks good mate,
if you need some inspiriation looks up f0xy or whiteley.
also instead of supercharging, consider getting an F7R engine instead,
theyre a straight fit and youll get 150hbp instead of 120.
can do it all for about £500
go for 4 points! theyre much better!!
on the other hand, i might have some 3points coming up for sale soon,
one is a TRS 3point, in red,
amd the other is a 3" 4point OMP harnesses modded onto a single back 2" harness
but you could take the modded bit out and have a 4point straigh to a roll...
im completely redoing my interior, as the just threw in the interior from my previous clio, and picked the cage up cheap, i now was to make it look nice.
the buckets are getting binned for some black side mounted buckets,
i want to paint the entire interior (all the way up to the dash)
but...
fook me! dig up a old thread why dont you! lol
many more mods came to this car,
http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?518115-because-it-IS-drivable!-(lowness)&highlight=
then it died august 2010,
it will be missed!
thats terrible, there's some sick people out there!
hope you get it sorted without too much hastle??
have you made any enemies lately???
and how can you be sure it was torched?? they can go up in flames due to faulty wiring and such!
Rokkor do cheap coilovers, search them on ebay, so long as youre running 58mm bolt spacing!
theyre still budget stuff, but you get what you pay for!
lowering 60 Mega meters is a hell of a long way!
bad advert for non branded gear?? id steer clear,
if you have to go for springs, go for...
if youre going to get deep dish wheels,
id suggest dropping a lot more than 60mm lol
you can drop it a fair way on 17s, i think i dropped mine around 80mm all round,
i did get a fair bit of rubbing on full lock though lol
i really like it,
theres plenty more you can do,
just starting adding OEM+ touches!
and colour coding,
however, it really grinds my gears when people puts jokey stickers about being low,
when theyre really not that low! lol
so this is 3 weeks away now,
has anyone come up with any final plans for time and place??
tbh, i think theres far to many people to do anything involving food,
and half the people dont want that anyway so i think a big CS meal is out of the question lol.
im more concerned about why you bought a show cage over a real one! save for longer and get the rear thing imo!
plus i have some bucket seats that will be for sale soon,
inc subframes for £180 or so x
if its a side mounted seat, then you will defs need sidemounts,
most seats come with a set of sidemounts i thought,
then you will need to either butcher you old seats,
or make/buy a set of subframes to fit the seat to the floor,
OR you could just fix the sidemounts directly to the floor,
but...
que the cliosport hate brigade,
it might have been prudent to keep past mistakes to yourself,
because cliosport will not let them go, and judge you repeatedly for them!
good luck mate!
how is so cheap to tax?
i was going to say its a complete conversion,
but i dont think anyone would go to so much trouble to change the lower dash and other such parts lol.
Go to start my clio this afternoon after leaving it from about 9 last night....
nothing,
unlocked fine, radio came on, feul pump primed,
turned to start the engine, and just a little click came from the starter motor!
its never done this all winter, its always started first time, every...
exhaust mount might be gone allowing excessive movement of the exhaust pipe??
or an engine mount, once again allowing too much movement causing the exhaust to hit on something?
the amount of rub you will get, depends completely on offset of the wheels,
you will have to remove the rear weather guards though,
i had 17's with 205/40/17
and lowered 60mm on Apex, and i didnt get any scrubbing what so ever!
