the roof is worse! its asif i has been painted with a paint brush!
and im dissapointed nobody has caught on to the fact that that is infact a rear bumper on the front of the car (note the numberplate light and shockingly mis-shapen arch gap!)
if im bored enough tomorrow, ill give him a...
The owner of this car works at a shop at the top of my road.
So everytime i go up my road, ive seen this car slowly evolve!
it started life as an odysee blue (i think) clio grande,
and now it looks like this!
you can kind of see the origional colour at the edge of the bumper!
it...
youll also have to fasion something to push down on the valve tops while gripping the engine,
or, just take the head off, do the cambelt, water pump, and headgasket while you're in the neighbourhood!
probs not dude, all the 16v have 58mm spacing (bar the 1*2's) and the 8v have 52mm. you'll have to change the hubs like ive done above!
got the coilovers off ebay
theyll be fine on a 1.2, and defs lower 60mm, as for ride quality, i couldnt comment since i run mine almost as low as they will...
is the name of one of the rallys in the FIA european championship,
was great fun to watch, and took these snaps of clios and thought id share them with you guys!
i am aware that my photography skills leave a lot to be desired, but i did my best!
if the rad was blocked,
would this mean the water would not be flowing around the engine?? surely that would cause the water temperature to sky rocket??
While driving along, ill go over a bump and the speedo will die,
just return to zero, and the tripcounter stops counting up.
sometimes it will come back to life after 10 minutes, but most of the time it will stay dead.
slowing down to zero, and pulling away again usually makes it come back...
Engine seems like it's getting too hot,
it smells like burning under the bonnet (and coming through the vents)
the fan comes on and stays on after the engine is turned off.
the water temperature on the dash however stays at a normal level
both water level and oil level are between min and...
its a seat leon splitter!
needs to be a lot lower to pull that splitter off imo!
not a big fan of the lenso wheels personally
but i prefer those wheels to the orange,
ive got money's waiting for the cage and wheels,
just give the a shout :P
cliosport might appreciate this car,
but it's appeal is limited only to those with taste,
and endurance to live with such a car,
and such people, would probs be looking at VW's rather than renaults unfort.

seeing as im sure you've sent the steering wheel i bought off you already!
Essex,
i dont mind taking the bumper off to have it done,
ill have to have a look around!
alize is 1.4
grande is 1.1
i snapped the cambelt on my 1.1
can fix it yourself for circa £200 assuming there is no damage to the head or pistons,
which is unlikely.
only way to find out is the strip the head down. I was lucky, i only had 6 bent valves!
however, £600 would be the going...
Can it be done without raising the car??
if i raise the car, and simply lower it back down after, it will put the tracking out!
im really not sure how tracking is done on car so not sure how easy it is to do on low cars!
the main problem arises because the car is a bit lower than low...
I'd go on the war path with them and make them find out why there is no date, and why it has been stamped for a service and t-belt change if it was only in for an MOT!
hopefully they'll be as intrigued as you, and investigate it,
it could be fraud!
Id be amazed if it hadn't snapped by now...
:D
buy a car off someone, fill out the logbook,
then call the scrappie whilst still at the sellers house to come collect it! saves even having to get it home!
and you get +10 man points if they give you more than you bought it for, infront of the previous owner!!!
as said, insurance will...
not reading the fine print FTL!
buy a £50 motor (complete heap!), and transfer the insurance onto that!
just leave it on the drive / get it scrapped and get £100 scrap value, and just keep the logbook!
then re-insure the clio!
