It really is a lovely car, very clean and can't wait for a spin it it @NorthloopCup
Certainly puts things into perspective, this will be so much more fun then the cup was it's more usable and I'd much rather have that then tenths of a second on a trackday!

So then yesterday I went and did me CBT, got it done pretty quick and the instructor took me and an one other guy down to the proper Driving Test station grounds to give us a bit of an insight and a mock up Mod1.
Mod1 is the slow riding and obstacle stuff which wasn't as bad as I expected after...
So then got a fair bit done recently!
Swapped the downpipe and front wheel bearing, just a few more bits to do before Angelssey
Oil and filter swap
Bleed brakes
Replace plugs and helicoil coil pack thread
Swap pads and try and jiggle the exhaust some more!
Pictures to come tomorrow haha
But...
No mate, I live in Gresley not too far from there though.
Yeah Curborough is the little sprint track, nice little community of car enthusiasts and good range of cars there.
As for meets mate I don't really do that thing now days, tracks and motorsport for me and the odd drive out really.
You...
Yep as Steve said I'm from Burton, had around 6 sports ranging for 172's to trophies and 197's and got a 172 cup daily now to run along side my R26 track car [emoji106]
I do work on local members cars from time to time.
If you after coilovers for what you want I'd go for bilstein of the Gaz's...
So cars all back together, running sweet!
Really want to give it a good detail as I used to love having a real clean car so that'll be on the cards soon!
The PF08's will see me for a few Trackdays before I switch to the 250 setup [emoji106]

So I got back Friday morning, early hours.
Whilst sat by the pool in Ibiza I ordered:
A new passenger side wheel bearing
Set of plugs
Oil filter
All from Renault parts direct online, very competitive and was back with a neighbour when I got back.
Anyway Monday night I thought I'd better...
So last night went as well as it could of done, had a slight off at coppice due to some sort of fluid spill later confirmed by the driver behind me and another lad who was in our garage!
Either way was a great night, few friends including @MrBurns who rode shotgun and helped clean out the...
Sticking with a 380bhp golf R that looked epically setup with those massive VW racing brakes is a testament to the Megane and how well it seems setup!
Still some improvement from me can be had for sure, not 100% confident in brakes but I'll address that soon! Need to get to the 1.20's and away...

So then been to get the alignment done, when stripping yesterday I made a small paint mark on the strut top.
Paid off as the camber was bang on at 2 degrees, just the toe needed tweeking as if upset that slightly!
Some guys run more camber but if I'm honest the Megane feels great and wears the...
So got round to fitting the AST's today had a few small delays like me wedding!
Quick snap from the day
Also pinched me aunties range for a couple of days which was a joy to drive compared to me daily cup and the 26 lol
Only got a few pics today was rushing due to the rain that was...
Yeah I've driven me friends R26r with them on quite a lot. The BC's are good for the money, the 4kg rears were way to soft and the 7kg did the trick but you can see where the money has gone with AST's as even with 450lb springs there so compliant
Nah afraid not mate

So going to try and find time to stick the AST's on this weekend, partly so me pal can have me BC's and so I can try and get it corner weighted and geo'd before the wedding!
Fingers crossed fitting shouldn't take no more then a couple of hours [emoji106]

So then a few little teaser pics from a quick clean, there's a few stone chips and one small dint that will paintless dent remove but it's honest.

So the exhaust has all been replaced with a used stealth and as the standard back box had decided to give up, just serviced it with all genuine parts from RPD and fitted a Ram air panel filter.
It's getting a good clean later and I have offered someone first refusal but at the price he's been...
There here [emoji106]

So had a chat with the missus, going to service the cup this weekend and give it a good clean and get some pictures up.
Looking around on the market and lower mileage ones seem few and far between.
Going to put the car up at 2200 Ono I think. I think that's reasonable giving the history. I'd...
Tbh I'd like somewhere close to what I paid for it, if I take the plate off I'll take that into consideration a little
