You'll need the pulley locking tool whether you change the dephaser or not if you want to follow the procedure correctly. Here's mine Bought mine from a local dealer, without all 3 it's very unlikely the timing will be within spec. These only have to be a nats c**k out and there down on power!

So had a text from a neighbour today, went a bit ebay in the pub and got this. Flocked speedo binacle, start of the flocking as the find the dash reflects bad and it looks epic if done well. Looking at a few daft but cheap dailys, old imprezas are flavour of the day atm

Exactly, I've done 7 trackdays and a ring trip this year and consider myself a novice. Yes I've clearly improved and got faster with help from a few more experienced friends but I can guarantee 75% of people in this thread haven't even done a track day

I don't think the video is that wreckless, yes he makes a few wrong moves but it's a montage of 29 laps. I think it's just a case of people jumping on the bandwagon a little bit, after all were all driving gods

Tbh he's doing sub 8 minute laps in a standard 250 and he did an 8.12 in a standard r26, this is just a video of thrills and spills. I guess dunlop direzza's and damp/cold/oily tracks are not the best combination

Off a friend of mine, he works for a parts supplier and they deal with powerflex so I got all 3 for less then 50 quid!!

Yeah tbh it was just a case of waiting for a friend to machine it for me, I wasn't going to rush ahead and pay 80-120 when my friend who owns a precision engineering company said he'd do it for 30 quid on exchange lol
