Tbh i heard cobra weren't that good . I've seen people who have had problems with the standard fitted cobra alarm . The toad also works off the original renault key fob .
If its just a bit patchy , like some of its not as shiny as the rest scratch x alone might bring it up . If it doesn't then try wet sanding then scratch x .
AG's only very mildly abrasive , if you wet sand you'll need scratch X .Even if you don't wet sand i'd use scratch x , always useful to have some to hand for minor scratches on your car .
Leave it for a week so the lacquers fully gone off , then if your not happy with the finish wet sand it with some 2000 grit wet n dry paper , then polish it with some meguiars scratch X and it will come up nice and shiny .
If its not insurance approved , cat 1 , then its a not approved for a reason , imo must be crap . Your insurance premium will usually be less with a cat 1 alarm fitted so thats whta i'd always go for .
I have a Toad 850T , linked into the factory fitted immobiliser .Second time i've had one...
I wouldn't change , but thats just my opinion . I much prefer the looks of the 182 . Sell private if you can . Similar age , mileage etc ...as yours on autotrader are going for anywhere between £9250 - £10,000 so the dealership is ripping you off big time :eek...

Tbh mate you've probably made his job harder , rather than just a touch up he's looking at rectification work so it " might " cost you a little bit more .
I had a scrape on my iceberg silver 172 bumper and was quoted £70 , apparently silvers a bit of a b*stard to match .
Give em a bell ...
My mate has an ipod shuffle and asked me to put some songs on it . I don't have an ipod of any description so i've never put songs on one before . I thought it was just drag and drop but obviously not . So i downloaded iTunes version 6 . So now i have a browser which shows up all the songs on my...
172's have a spare wheel well , so the 182 exhaust won't fit . K-tec do a 182 lookalike exhaust for the 172 .

Check the metal clip on the cv joint boot , they snap .If its snapped and still in place it will have sprung open and catch the brake caliper each time the wheel turns .
Have you noticed any dirt or grease on your alloy . Usually a good indication that the clip has failed .
I always park as far away as possible on a supermarket car park , on an angle and slightly over a white line , usually works . But once had some tw*t park so close at the Trafford centre i couldn't even get down the side of my car to get in so had to use the passenger door , gave their car a...
