Firstly I assume you meant to say you have just bought a snow foam lance?
When you say you have been using a sh*t one, are you referring to the lance or the snow foam, either way can you list what you have been using?

Sure i have heard of something like newspaper with vinegar but can't recall the exact process, thing is if there is a smell of damp whats to stop it coming back if the 'damp' doesn't get dried out?
