I am rather baffled, you say you need to "work your ass off to get in back on the road" yet you are contemplating getting a 172/182 in place of it?

My mate brought round his Mrs' Ford Ka the other day after some tw#t had decided to etch 'C#NT' across the entire width of the bonnet, think they must have used a key and pressed down proper hard - needless to say i could not get it to budge.
Nice shiney bonnet now though lol
Personally I wouldn't just jump straight in like you appear to be wanting to do. Get on a good product website I.e. I4detailing, cleanyourcar etc and start with getting the basics (buckets. Wash mitts, shampoo, drying towel).
However if you do really want to go and buy everything then again...
If i remember correctly the clio one comes of easy enough, think i taped the paintwork up around it then prized it off with a small ruler. The Renault one however was not so easy - snapped in half!!!

Surely, like products such as snow foam this would/should be used as an aid rather than a direct replacement for a lengthier process.
