Best advice is to start from total scratch, read up on all the processes from start to finish and try to take in what each stage is done for along with what products and/or kit is needed.
jumping in wont do you any favours in the long run as JD has commented on, equally it can be wasted money if...
Strangly I've found the best cloth for cleaning glass a non statically charged microfibre. This came about when I made a boo boo ages ago and put a batch in the tumble drier. Oh and yes 3M glass cleaner is worth every penny of its current price of £3.49 in Tesco
I love working with Black cars, so so rewarding.
Infact i had a little run of doing black cars at one point, it went:
Mk4 Golf R32
Audi A3 S-Line
EP3 Civic Type-R
Audi A4 Saloon
Half a new shape Audi S3 (owner had a scratch down the one side and attempted to sort it with T-C*nt and what i can...
Currently only £3.49 at Tesco, I've been a big fan of it since JimWD got me onto it, decent stuff for what's usually only about a fiver so even better now. Had to take a couple of cans.

For sale is my Father in laws Audi A3.
He has owned it since new and it's currently only on 42k as he has mainly used work vans as his daily driver.
Main details are:
54 plate in black with black interior throughout
3.2 V6 Engine (same as what's in the Golf R32 so I'm told)
Awesome DSG...
I really like TT's lately, especially love the 3.2 as my father in law has that engine in his A3.
Good choice IMO and I'm sure it will be looking close to perfection very soon.
Crap car that isn't even that cheap even if someone were to put it back to standard.
What bugs me is the advert, spelling and punctuation issues all over the place makes it annoying to read
^^ This sort by Name column then DOB.
There is a more complicated formula whereby you can locate how many name matches there are but going by what you need the above is perfect
A bit??? That looks caked on, did my father in laws exhausts on his A3 which looked much the same, took a fair while with plenty of wire wool, mercury and a hell of alot of elbow grease
