Re: My new car. TTQS
I was there but didnt really get to speak to anyone. Got there late (9ish) and left at 2 as I had to go sofa shopping..:(
Still was a good day although the TT was looking a little sorry for itself with the bad weather the day before. Otherwise it'd have been clean..lol...
Yeah that's got more holes than mine. I had a spare airbox so back to standard now. I might go to town on it and see if its any better. Thanks for the pic.
Yeah I read about the 2.2 but for the extra money its not worth it to me.
Thanks mate.
Really? How many holes did you cut? I may not have done enough on mine. As I say it made it flat.
Im going to order a badget tip and stick with the standard airbox I think.
Daz what was the part number for the pick up and price mate? I need to do mine.
Oh and a word of advice. You may have seen the vag boys love to cut holes in the bottom of the air box called the wak mod or something. Apparently gives a proven 5bhp more. Dont do it. Made mine flat as a witches tit.
Just buy an import..

I need to get a vagcom and do some logging. Or learn how too...lol!
Boost leaks sound like a large hiss. The TT had one when I bought it but soon found it. Must be going well as I was pushing a E350 CDI down the road with ease last night up to silly speeds.
Re: My new car. TTQS
Just these cheap ones matey. http://www.hids-direct.co.uk/501-error-free-5-smd-led-sidelights-bulbs-1/
Haldex and filter is £150 all in so not too bad.
Re: My new car. TTQS
Haldex service booked and LED sidelights now fitted to match the xenons. Now, do I debadge the rear?
James' on here for comparison however i'd def leave the Audi rings.
I'm just glad it didnt happen to me..lol! He was actually fine about it tbh. Its not like you can "make" it go. Worst thing was with the nur spec on it he could hear me coming from miles away...;)
Liam I love your classic. Bloody lovely. Perfect infact for one with too many doors.
I have some great memories with Subaru's. Mainly as when I was 21 my bro had a STi 4 he'd let me drive when ever I wanted. Used to love it.
It had a full rebuild by APi after the bottom end went about 10...
Easiest engine mount to change on any car ive worked on. Ours went. Quite common I beleive.
Parrot looks good too. They easy to fit? I have a Alpine head unit with BT sat here but I dont like changing from oem.
