will probs never be 100%,
but refurb specialists can do some impressive things with furbared wheels,
but if theyre cheap wheels,
may be easier and cheaper to just buy a new wheel!
add some more bumpstop to the shock??
so that it hits the bumps stops before scrubbing??
its not comfy, but stops scrubbing.
ideal if you only go down that low on very rare occasions!
thats what theyre there for after all!
3k on an 80% power increase is abit of a no brainer to me! lol
why spend so much on a cliosport if you only plan on ripping the seats, seat belts, interior etc out?
you end up spending £1500 more so you can have the sport bumpers and air conditioning!
at least you get to watch the value of...
meh, i cant see how much stripping youve done from your pics,
but more is needed!
i thought you still had all the rear trim in?
and get some harnesses!
they make buckets 100x's more fun.
These used to be an event on the social calender a few years ago,
they were on bank holiday monday, always meet up at lakeside (thurrok) services around 7pm, and move on from there
used to be a mental turnout! some really nice cars sometimes too, among the seats of bodykits and chavs.
does...
this saturday was pretty busy,
well over tescos it was,
unitl the police had to shut off the roundabout for us :(
if anyone saw the mk1 fiesta stopped on the roundabout, that was us! lol.
is anyone going to lakeside tonight??
ooh, where did you get that done??
im quite interested in doing the same kind of thing myself!
how much did you spend on the entire ordeal??
looks good, and im sure it goes even better!
ahh,
sorry, i made bold assumptions from your DP!
i feel for you, thats far too much on insurance.
and nothings changed between now and last years policy??
guess your gna have to suck up and accept that insurance is effort!
i have 52mm bolt spacing on my hub,
if i bought a set of coilovers with a bolt spacing of 58mm,
is there any reason why i couldnt mill the bottom hole 6mm toward the top one, then perhaps weld a washer over it to stop it moving,
if the bolts are done up tight, and the top bolt is still...
yes, hubcentric means they are the correct bore to sit perfectly on the orginional spigot,
and they have a new spigot, the same size as the previous one on the spacer to take the weight of the wheel,
so yes they are the safer of the spacers market.
does anyone know if they will be in a 52mm spacing for a 1.2,
i refuse to spend £400 on upgrading the suspension of a 1.2, i only want it on the floor,
but this i wouldnt definatley do!
im up for anything too,
the closer to southend the better for me, as the old 1.2 dont pull too good :(
though no idea where to suggest in terms of holding said meet,
sorry :(
Lol i have just read the thread abit more, how on earth did you loose the sump? Mines nearly as low, if lower and ive not put a single bit of damage on my sump, its between the wheels!!
If all else falls through, give me a shoult when you're selling those wheels!!!!!
