haha i get that face a lot!
i want to bring the yellow in, but not too sure how to without getting the colour wrong and looking tacky!
was thinking yellow badges and bullet letters, but dont want to clash with the fogs :(
ooh sorry i didnt realize that this thread had been bumped!
raised the car up slightly at the rear from the carpark pic,
and took the rear camber off.
stripped the rear out, and carpeted over the bare metal in the rear.
jamie i lowered the subframes, i like sitting low lol.
CRACKED SUMP...
i was down lakeside at the weekend, was rammed, looked really good, saw a coule of cs stickers, but didnt bother remebering anything.
looks like the two roundabouts people drift around is getting shut down, loads of roadworks over there :(
as said, cough up £10....
then follow this link

two sets on here atm!
£400 is the cheapest ive seen for 52mm coilovers,
im looking into changing the hubs to the 58mm ones,
then ill get some coilover on the group buy or something.
Are they interchangable??
say if i wanted to put some 16v hubs on a 1.2 8v is there anything stopping me??
other than the obvious fact that the shock bolts wont meet up, thats not an issue in this case.
doing it to give me more choise in second hand coilovers, and bigger brakes would be...
i need to replace the bushes on my clio,
its a 2001(X) mk2 ph1 1.2 rn
but everywhere seems to offer,
outer anti roll bar, 22mm or 23mm
inner anti roll bar, 23mm or 25mm
and it seems theres a universal one for wishbones,
can anyone advise me please!
thanks
Sunflower ph1 172 spotted down southend seafront tonight,
had a sticker with joshwa on the window.
looked pure sex tbh,
also saw other cars saying R.I.P josh172?
not sure if the two are linked but it seemed odd.
i lowered on 60mm for wel over a year with no probs,
now im lowered a lot more,
changing springs is a 5 minute job,
if your lowering for look, 60mm is the least you can go, (otherwise nobody will notice)
however as said, 30mm eibatch springs do offer performance increase.
best place to go is FK,
delta mics are cheaper, but ive heard some very bad things about the bolts,
what size are you after??
are you getting ones that bolt to the hub? or just ones with longer bolts?
to get to the group buy, you have to become a paid member,
but if your looking into doing things to your clio then the for sale section has tones of good bits for sale.
also, cliosport hint, (to not be flamed)
use full english, no abreviations (sp)
never boast or admit to putting your foot...
snapped one of the handbrake cables possibly??
the cable is split into two cables (one for each drum) about half way down under the car.
snapping one would mean the car still holds itself, but youll have to pull it up a lot higher.
jack up the back, and see if the handbrake is locking both...
surely the wheel wont come off?!
the bolt on the axle will stop it coming off.
they will last for ages after they start going,
but its best to get it changed
frequency response of your standard speakers is not that important really,
are you refering to the HPF settings on your headunit? if so, set it to the 70-80hz mark as said above.
personally id never use 'bass boost' its on the same shelf as a power cap for me!
will amplify some of the bass...
will have to find out from the people that made them,
clip sounds almost identical to a normal signal, it just seriously over works the voice coil.
thats the best way of looking at clip, the amp can only amplify up to a certain voltage, after that, it will square off. its very hard to...
the BEST way to set it up is to get a 50hz frequency, along with other frequencies, (at 0dB)
play them at 75% headunit volume with no bass enhancements at all,
set everything on the amp to zero,
wire an oscilloscope to the output terminals on the amp,
set the scope to the correct input...
17s always work out bigger, no matter how much the tyre aspec seem to match up.
as said, 17s on a clio just doesnt go, looks far too high, and the wheels are too heavy.
get the standard 16s
looks good mate,
however this set up does get tiresome in a daily driver,
or after a two hour drive like i had to take today :( my arse is still dead lol
still worth it
ye man, the palm trees are going up :S
not much works down the bit where parking spaces are,
but outside the arcades is still abit of a mess.
i want to see ferry lane on a busy night, havnt had the pleasure yet lol.
