Petrol prices are getting silly, they keep going up but we're not earning anymore. When it gets to £1.20-1.25/ litre im going to have to get a derv.

I paid £300 for cambelt and waterpump on my 1.2 16v, it was going to be £200 for just the cambelt but I got the waterpump done as well as it was showing signs of leaking.

I said to my younger brother that he ought to think about getting his cambelt done as his mk2 ph2 is coming up to 5yrs old, he said he did it a couple of weeks ago himself and it was a piece of piss :eek: £200 tops at a garage.

Is it running hot? Does it burn much oil? Have you done a compression test?
