If you have illegally spaced plates prepare for them to go over the car with a fine tooth comb when you get pulled, tyre treads the works. Mine would look better illegally spaced but at the moment its legal and it will probably stay that way.
White 15" Ph1 172 wheels, The handling on 15s is far too good to loose. In terms of performance if you plant your foot in 5th at 70 it climbs all the way to 110 at the same steady rate, not quick but its not struggling either. It only does this on the flat though and 110 is a brick wall.
Theres a couple of RB's around this are now, what does your number plate end in Fatbloke.
Dan you've got birdshit on your nearside rear quarter, get it sorted! I went past on the bus earlier!
Really? Well my car number plate begins with HJ as its the local 'code' for around here along with 'HG' for all manufacturers?
Please elaborate....
Oh and congratulations Annie!
1000% times better than that original one, just get a new front plate and some fog lights and your sorted. Nice to see a Clio being put back to how it should be.
PMSL at this thread.
Do you bounce it off the limiter when its stone cold in McDonalds car park, the ladies love it lol.
bmh.01 gives sound advice, i ve only hit the limiter a handful of times in mine, no point taking it above 5.5k really and in this hot weather mines slow as fek.
What planet are you on?
Performance theres not alot in it I believe the 1.2 16v is 12.5 secs 0-60 and the dci 65 is 15secs, top end is about the same although I reckon the dci would be much better mid range.
Are your on about new or used? I think you will find used the dci's retain their...
All been seen before but may be off some use, if you do use them in terms of royalties can I have a set of coilovers please because as you can see it badly needs them! :rasp:
I ve got a 1.2 16v, neither are quick to be honest, my 1.2 does around 48mpg so the difference in fuel consumption may not be enough to justify the difference in price between the petrol and diesel. I wish I had got a dci but they were going for £1k more than I paid for my 1.2 16v.
I think you mean 182, if you could get a 197 for £5k I would be straight on it.
I reckon a hybrid would be more expensive to insure than a 172, its also worth noting that a Dynam with a 2.0 lump is not worth the same used as a 172ff, so despite it having cost you more than a 172 to get it...
Lol, I haven't read the whole thread but its a stupid idea, the amount its going to cost all in you could probably get a mint 172FF with warranty from a dealer, with xenons, RS interior etc that this hybrid won't have, more hassle than its worth.
