I've been the Hayes one recently and im not inmpressed with mine... They used the existing flange from my broken exhaust and it knocks and bangs, to say im unimpressed is an understatement! Plus they don't do mandrel bends so for the money a mandrel system is better from K-tec/BTB...

Tbh I think its worth it! Sod the miles on it, its number 1! There aren't many people that can say that they have the number 1 of any car built... It can put back to standard very easily, still think you could make some money on that in years to come.

Not sure about the cambelt... I never did it but I didnt have it that long, so I would say its worth doing pal. What do mean a bit tempermental?

Think the wheels with the colour of the car go great, though if it was a straight black roof then it would look better I feel, the purple flip doesnt give it a hard enough style. Tops marks for being different!

Love it! Yeah it may look like a the Astra Vxr from the back, but imo that isn't a bad thing! Some different wheels and that is perfect! The yellow on the Megane is far greater than the Liquid yellow also... Again imho.

I dont think its an RS shell, almost looks like a St170 shell or lower spec. The arches aren't wide enough and still fits a standard rear bumper....

There was a rolling road printout to prove... The guy did mention that the guy who did the map said that it was pushing the limits of the injectors. Think it was bbpt that did the map.

Think he managed almost 150 lb/ft of torque also. Not too bad coming from a little 1.2! But would just prefer a bigger engine.

Someone I know had a 1.2 turbo and had a remap to 128bhp!!! haha, not sure what kind of gain it is from standard....

Thought it was, I saw his clio go up pod.... Was Quick! Having a look at that is that built from the 1.5 or 1.6 single cam lump? Supposedly you can get big gains for little money turbocharging the 1.5, good for 280bhp on a standard bottom end...

Theres only one thing that makes me think the 197 front end looks better, and thats the splitter kit on it. After hating the 200 I really am into it. Seeing it on tv and more and more pictures coming through, I wouldnt mind purchasing one in the not too distant future!

Is this the same guy as the one that made the really quick clio 16v drag car? With a R5 turbo engine if I recall?

Do it! Epic sounding exhausts but may get annyoing if you do lots of motorway miles... I've got the sports system for mine and that perfectly loud enough or me!

I thought that the 172 (4-1) manifold provided better torque and better low mid range and the 182 (4-2-1) provided more high end power....

I had this same thing happen to me a while ago, ended up being the earth from the gearbox was loose and it had a spaz fit... Have a look i'd say or other than it might be the ignition leads...
