yeah i knew the lad back in the days of the Yahoo! Clio Club, its a 1.2 and he use to lie his arse off in all the mags saying it was a 1.4 with mods, bla, bla. Like Fred said, had the PROPER Lexus IS200 lights on it as well. Thats a photoshop though (not that it isn't obvious).

mine pulls away a bit but not much, he's done a lot of mods to the engine though (cams, manifold, decat, stupidly loud straight through exhaust system, viper, etc, etc )

Tom have you seen a white 106 GTI with 17" Chromes and tints going around Llandudno? its my mates, he's got a stupidly loud exhaust on it these days.

yep same engine as a VTS, my mates 106 GTI is quick and easily keeps up with my 172

it was 15mm dead on f&r when fitted ( more than 2 years ago now ), so they will have settled some more, but wouldn't have gone more than 20mm i would have thought.

the brakes are BB-Tuning Power Slot Discs F&R and Pagid Fast Road Pads F&R : the calipers will be done before the wheels go on, thinking silver or yellow.

don't really like the std alloys / coloured or non-coloured, LOVE the Turinis, but want something different to the standard Silver, it is lowered with Eibach Pro Kit (15mm I was told at time of fitting, d-tweeks) Also want something a bit more 'open' to let the brakes breathe better :
