i paid £1200 when I first had my 172, would never go over £1400 though I would say, its stupid money, i was paying £135 a month to insure the 172. Crazy money when you look back on it, i've got 7yrs ncb now though :)

i think its no more than just unscrewing fastening clips and screws mate, 90deg bend just pulls out of position once unscrewed/clipped IIRC.
