Aye, it'll be staying like this!
Going to give it a minor paint correction closer to summer, replace the boot-lock surround badge, fit these 266mm brakes that I've had for too long and just enjoy it!
Took some fresh photo's today. You can see it without the splitter a bit better too - looks much better now, I reckon.
It's still absolutely awesome :D
It's only cut out the once, as I said - so I'll just put it down to character! :)
Ridiculously good fun to drive though. Lift off over steer is Awesome!!
Mine has a BMC CDA on it, and its getting through petrol quick enough!
I'm not fussed though - at least it's quick in return, unlike my Clio which was s**t on fuel And slower than wind erosion ffs.
It's cut out once, but been fine since... must just be temperamental!
The future plans list I made in my first post is gone - 266mm brakes, then leave it alone tbh!
Wouldn't it make more sense to just sell one set then? And buy some different wheels with that money... Just a thought.
Does look good! Could maybe do to be a little be lower, but not much.
In the three weeks I've owned this 106, the airbag light has come on, the rear window de-mist button has stopped working and it's had a dodgy idle once or twice. But I wouldn't swap it for anything else right now! Such an awesome drive :approve:
(These will all be corrected asap btw Callum ;) )
That Saxo's awesome! I think if I were to consider another 106/Saxo after this one, it'd have to be a Saxo - there's no way I'd be able to follow up this one tbh - would always be slightly disappointed.
Coming from my previous Clio, I have to agree with what's been said about build quality etc...
Christ, I was only messin! Lowest is definitely not best - I probably proved that when mine was -90mm at the rear in the pictures above.
Agreed. Yours is a perfect example of a good ride height/stance combination.
Mine was perfect here, before I started messing with wide arches/bumpers IMO...
