What an awesome workshop!
The course I'm currently doing at college involves basic lathe/mill work, so I can appreciate the skill that guy has.
Great find.
Already got some 206 GTI brakes (266mm) ordered, so I'll see how I get on with those :) I think 4 pots might be a little excessive... lol!
A Raceland mani will be fine for my usage! then it's Bilstein time
I was actually looking at getting a 16v S1 Rallye before this came along, but...
Jesus! They're massive
Won't fit under 14's though :(
Don't really like cyclones either tbh - I'd rather Nimrods if any. But standard ftw!
Going to chance it with a Raceland manifold - can't beat it for that price.
I'm on Rallye Register too - seems quite quiet though..
Exactly what I want. Is a Supersprint worth the extra over other manifolds (Raceland/Janspeed etc)?
Is it worth just getting a manifold with just a standard exhaust? Not really sure what to invest in first...
Are there any other 106 forums other than 106owners? Seems really chavvy on there
We'll see! I got them cheap enough, so I can grind them down if needed.
What pads/disks have you got on yours? Seems Ferodo DS2500's are popular pads, along with Mintex ones. Unsure about discs though?
Agreed. I'd much rather spend more on a car that I know is sound.
Laguna splitter will probably bite the dust this weekend when I get round to it. Wouldn't mind a Cupra one tbh, but standard will do for now.
Uhuh, I think the 2" Pugsport is the way to go. Just need to find a second hand one...
Cheers mate :)
ORLY? I know their manifolds are quite a bit, assumed the rest was too tbh!
What did you make the straight centre section out of? Just bang Cat out DIY style? lol
Yeah, will do mate - that's kind of you! :)
Oh really? Fair enough!
I've not really looked into them too much. Might just get a centre section/decat first tbh - I don't mind the standard stealth back box.
