I took £3700 for it, couldn't see myself getting a great deal more from private, and this way very quick and easy and was towards the car I wanted. I paid the rest towards the Golf which ill put some pics up of next week!
Couldn't see myself getting any more than £4000 for it, so just went for...
Growing out of something doesn't just have to be related to age. People develop different tastes, wants, needs etc. So you can grow out of a car that once suited you/satisfied you.

Just seen the trader who bought it off me has put it up for sale.
Traded mine in for a White 2008 plate Golf Gti on the weekend, and he is now reselling my Clio obviously.
Thoughts on his price?
Im not slating those who drive them, but I just hated the tinny feeling of mine, and the interior, I did from very early on owning it, always preferred the cabin in my Pug 206!
They are very capable cars and for the price, the performance is brilliant!
I grew out of this within a year tbh, took me a while to have a bit of money, working and now bought a Golf Gti!
Just not a fan of the small, not well built Clio's imo. Too tinny for me.
Clio 197 prices dropping, as well as Clio 200 prices dropping a little bit with a few being a bit older now
Clio 182s are now around 6 years old minimum
Mileage going the wrong side of 30-40k
Car designed pretty much in the 90's, as opposed to many more modern cars
How people can expect to...
I just traded my 182 in.
£3700
50000 Miles
2005 plate
Racing Blue
Belts done
FSH, 4 months MOT
Probably could have got more for it, but I doubt much more, and it would have taken a while in this market with the Clio 197's becoming so cheap now. Very happy with the new motor being delivered...
