The way Apple dealt with the last iPhone release would show if they had problems with distributing contracts in bulk etc, or if they just wanted to shift as many 'handset onlys' as possible, so definitely related. It doesn't mean it will happen this time, but that wasn't the question.

Will it be easier to get Handset only or contract on release for a new iPhone based on those that were buying when the iPhone4 was released?

They shure do look s**t IMO. I think a lot of people buy into Beats for the aesthetics as well.

I did the same with a similar priced pair of bose headphones. Sounded very similar, i preferred the bass on the beats. Haven't bought either though.

When adding the monthly cost to the handset price it does give you the 'net contract price' Eg. 550 for the phone + ? per month (not sure what these figures tend to be) Vs 200 for the phone + 45 a month Then you can compare what will be cheaper over 18 months!

BTW, Im going to be starting a new contract with mine, so how will i go about getting in there amongst the crowds of fan boys etc and manage to get one ASAP. Would like it with the contract rather than forking out for handsfree tbh OR is it cheaper this way? I remember a few people did it with...

Home button is also f*cked. Its only attached on one side , still works completely fine, but only attached on the left hand side lol Learnt my lesson to take a stopwatch into the gym rather than a phone, putting it on the floor and chucking a dumbbell on it.

My cracked screen on my 3GS is getting annoying now, but I refuse to upgrade to a 4 knowing it is only another 2 months until the possibility of a new one!
