are ford not 4x105???
4x98 will fit a clio, not properly, but tbh, they shouldnt be on a corsa either if the pcd is not correct.
either way should not be allowed to sell them as 4x100, false advertising FTL
ahh my threads been revived! hoorah lol,
some changes have gone on since then,
the backs abit lower now to make the sills level,
and its gone on a diet toward the rear :P
16 will fill the arches better,
15 will be lower, much less weight and smaller diameter so will make it accelerate abit faster, though if you get with small tyres will put your speedo out slightly,
personally i like 15, i think small cars suit small wheels.
should of had a mare when they did that!
i would have gone spare!
my drive shaft came out when lowering,
if its any consolation, the rear springs are a piece of piss to do
i wna get to work as soon as someone wants to p/x me a ph2 bumper.
saying that ive not used fibre glass before so ill probs be working on it weeeelll into december too lol.
thought they fit no problem,
theyre the same stud pattern and centre bore,
but the offset may well be slightly different.
pm robbos, he had 172 wheels on his.
hold old is the car??
it it the one that came with it??
rubber will perish over time, but if its not being used, and not exposted to the elements very much should last a fair while.
my gdads car nearly failed an mot because the tyre rubber had perished and cracked. was a 13year old car and...
if you have lowered shocks they shouldnt sit anywhere near the bump stops, its only about 7-10mm in the adjusters?!
and my apex 60mm springs used to fall out when jacked up lol, just jack up by the axle, job done.
depends on the age of the ph1,
before a certain year they used clips, late ph1s, and ph2/3/4 used the style were you put them in and push them back,
take your strips off and make sure theyre not little white and red clips holding them on, if so, will need some modification to make the latter...
damn you! im in the process of sourcing a ph2 bumper to do one for mine,
wont let me have any monaco ph1 lime light will you!!!!
if you do it before me (which is highly likely) ill hunt you down and cut you!!
i can understand the aplication of these,
you put the bolts included on using a 15/17/19mm
then you slide that metal spacer over them to act as the spacer,
the bolts you just put in have threads cut into them so your existing bolts can bolt your wheels on,
looks dodgy as fook to me and...
id agree,
them rims arn't really any better than what youve got on now,
id go for something abit less larey, bit more subtle,
i think the big attention grabbing wheels style is reserved for show cars and chavs,
as said, 172 wheels look good on clios.
standard lights and remove the eye brows...THEN quits lol
n as said, tis the cliosport crime putting 2.0 16v on any other than a sport,
unless your making the replica argument but thats neither here nor there.
colour coding and door strips look good,
wheels, lights, brow and wheels arnt my cuppa tea tho, sorry.
also is that a razors sticker in your window??
keeping rolling alive lol.
