They are 115bhp, and as Fred said slower than a well driven 1.2 16v especially in the twisties.

The info you have is for the end of line Corsa B's with the 16v engine, the 1.2 16v Corsa C (2001) are 78bhp if I recall. And in answer to the original question the saxo 1.1 would be quicker.

It sounds like its a new one, if so give it death for 10k and it will soon loosen up. Mine is so much quicker than when I first got it and more economical. Make sure the drivers side mat doesnt go under the pedal either lol.

I got mine done too a few days ago, I didn't have the letter or an appointment but I was passing so I thought i would give it a shot. I haven't actually opened the bonnet since but I assume all was ok as they signed me off.

I would definatly keep it if I was in your position but I know how you feel as these things never are the same again.

What a great idea, reclining buckets are abit pointless and most people who buy a Clio need the occasional use of all 4 seats, hence why they buy a Clio and not an Atom, this gives you the best of both worlds.

How much roughly are you looking at for the interior...
