Yesterday on the way to collect my Chinese I put my foot down a little whilst driving the mrs' 182. As I put my foot down it revved fine then felt like the limiter had been reached so changed out of 3rd into 4th.
The odd thing was I'm sure I'd barely made it passed 5000rpm.
So this evening...
Well after pretty much a year of ownership I decided to let my Clio go to its new home, luckily its still staying on the site and will hopefully be well looked after.
I got the impression the new owner was rather happy with it going by the text I got following the sale/drive home – I just hope...
try fancyplates you will clearly have to pay a bit extra for fast dispatch
in the meantime knock one up on some card and whack in the rear window, better to have something rather than nothing

i'm surprised that you've said specialists are "alot" more, for around £500 you should be able to find a good specialist, worth travelling a bit to get it done well imo
i travelled 150 mile round trip...
I'd like to raise my coilovers (wind up) slightly, i'm useless at that sort of thing before anyone asks :rasp:
what sort of money should i expect for a garage to do this? just a ball park figure would be handy.

Assuming i still have my 172 then that is, will keep you posted if i need to drop out Dan - even if i don't attend fingers crossed my car will still be going ;)
well its not in the best of conditions as the rear bumper is not fitting 100% however it drives well and only has 36k on the clock (2006 cup model).
on face value it looks a good amount of car even at £5k but i totally understand its value due to the damage its had.
i thought about buying at...
