im sure ive seen that in cheadle hulme... i almost was tempted to plough my TT into it.
Sorry im an old skool vw geek, rat look has been around for decades and i love it... however the forced rat look... not for me.
i just dont get it.
but your car, if you like then thats all that...
i do get bored sometime but the drive knowing that when its done you can say i did that! is cool,
almost everything about it will be different or changed very subtly, cant wait for the 1st time i can drive it...
sure it will probably break down the 1st time tho haha
its a 28 year old car, solid colour is where its at, most mk1 s are solid, only few metallic.
it is 2k paint but not laqured...
just the way its done...
the idea seems to be put loooads of paint on then buff till shiney...
luckly im not the one doing it but im after as much info as possible.
although i do have a set of wheels that need polishing myself
well im looking at equipment for buffing up my mk1 golf when its just been painted, its not being laquered...
someone suggested and angle grider with appropriate attachment... does that work?
cheers
my new clocks arrived the other week :D
direct fit into the standard gti centre console :D
prepping for paint has now started :D red bloody rust everywhere!!
came in on moday and a door had magic'd its self onto the car... i was very impressed the car has started putting itself back...
its not the most exciting engine in the world... ill agree with that... but drive it right and its nea so bad...
still love the TT ... its lasted 7 months so far... may well make a year and will be the longest ive ever kept a car
Youll find that mods only void warrenty relating to that part/system...
you fit a lowering kit... your warrenty relatining to suspension would be void
remap... greay area as its sometimes hard to prove
