Just had this from him.
Got the motherboard sent away today for RMA with the retailer. They had silly issues with their email preventing them from receiving the pictures to confirm that I bent no pins on the socket, had to eventually call them and organise and then send them to their official...
Serial is on the CPU thankfully. He's sent me a few pics of the socket, showed the board displaying 00. Using a Noctua cooler, I've told him and eBay I'm not willing to take it back as I know it to be working. Intel failure rate across all SKUs is something like 0.2%. Luck of the Irish.
I said...
Guess what, the Irish potato who bought a 6800K OEM cpu that was new off me (fully working) has contacted me through ebay requesting a return 'faulty or defective'.
f**king idiot, better not have killed it. I'm calling him out on it, he's taken over a month to test it. Apparently he moved...
Offt, love CSL. The c**t forgot they did a GTS as well whilst he was chatting balls. I'm sure he's thrilled to bits with it, but no need to plague the internet.
EDIT: Although I think his mate should take over his channel, he seems to know more about cars and can also pronounce his R's correctly.
Not meaning to drag it out, but I will just say I've both Met Chip and used K-Tec (in the sense of over 4,000 smackers), and I'd like to think I'm reasonable.
Both are s**t. You can't justify the behavior.
Digression over.
I've met him a couple of times and he even got me out of a jam with an alloy once, most people wouldn't do the same if you didn't know someone from Adam, and I wouldn't have said a bad word. However, by night, when the street lamps flicker and the keyboards are a pitter, he seemed to turn into...
What the F&F car should have been like! Credit to you both, hope it makes the power.
Fun fact: The F&F Supra was standard besides the aesthetics. Still went for a fair whack at auction, though
These are definitely on the cool wall. Mate of mine had one whilst I had my Clio, and it did fairly well considering. (Considering my 172 was north of 200bhp/180ftlbs and stripped)
It was mapped, though.
VR on a budget? Spending 700 pounds on early adoption only to pair it with a video card that barely meets requirement is questionable. Hell, I own a 1080GTX and I can't justify it currently. Async compute, well. That will never arrive. Cantankerous to implement, gains are negligible. People need...
