Correct Rob, 5 years tracking the 172 lol, and this being the first time on track in the E, need to be smoother with my steering - im not normally as ham fisted :o

Lol cheers matey, I almost got it, but too much lock can flip the Elise the other was so quickly, so I was being as gentle as I could, and it was far safer to spin in lol so I let it go.
Only a green mark from the sign and some very light scratches, which will T-cut out as running my nail...
Had a quick session in the morning, was going pretty well - wasnt flat out as this was my first outing on track in the elise, and experienced a bit of a moment coming out of Quarray lol

Decided to spend a few hours after work giving the elise a clean, it needed it!
Nothing special, just a chemical clean with the valeting kit at work, then soap down, jet wash off, dry off then some auto Glym polish, with the inside getting a dash clean, a vacuum, and those bloody fecking floor...

This was what we found at work the other day, the Mk5 Golf TDi had been into a 'tuning company' who fitted this mod, telling the owner it would give better performance by stopping the boost hose expanding

Popped over to swindon and met up with a mate off the Lotus owners club as I hadn't been over to see him since I had bought mine, and he has some very nice Carlos Fandango camera and got some nice piccies:

I had to work this morning, so took the Elise into work and after I finished I fitted the new headlight bulbs iv got. Not been out in the dark yet, but after comparing one to the other they look a lot brighter and whiter too, which im hoping should improve...
