Not the direction I would of taken but it looks well finished, and I like the grill, I think the wheels look a little agreesive for the shape of the Clio but a carbon 'bad boy' bonnet would make it more aggressive and maybe some KTEC angel eyes.
Not the most eloquently put I admit, but I stand by it, not only does it look rubbish its also illegal, I wouldn't class it as bullying, if your going to modifications like that you have to be prepared for people to take the piss.
As above, and taking all the crap out is noticeable, Michael I would get some thin board and some black carpet to go in the back, ideal shag platform too Clio back seat is a pain in the arse!
I thought the 1.2 16v was rubbish!
I would strip it out as thats free and very noticeable, get rid of the spare wheel and get a can of tyre foam (all providing you don't need the rear seats).
Yours is on 14" steelies if I recall which are crap for grip, get some cheap 15" alloys be they...
I think you've hit the nail on the head there, if you want your plate to say something buy a private plate, don't space your normal plate out or people will just think your a berk, and you will eventually get pulled for it.
Thats seen more action than a coppers torch! My bet is it either a cat A/B or its nicked (most likely) he claims he hasn't got the v5 so without that how do you prove ownership? It doesn't show the reg number either in any photos...
Definatly been in a bash too, you can see those panel gaps from...
Elephant/ Admiral (same company) are a shower of shite to deal with, I paid my insurance up front last July and when I looked at changing my car around Christmas time, I was almost starting from afresh they wanted something ridiculous.... The threads here...
Too many people over pay on fully comp, I know people with N reg Fiesta's they have bought for £400 and they are paying £1600 fully comp back in the day, some people are a few sandwiches short of a picnic!
Congratulations on the new car Martin get some pics up when you get it.
I ve got a pipercross one on my 1.2 16v but it will be coming off soon, its far too hot this time of year for an open IK and during the day it feels noticeably slower. I will probably stick a panel filter in there, on a cold winters day the IK definatly improves responsiveness.
1.2 8v is 60bhp
1.2 16v is 75bhp
there as slow ones and fast ones out there though.
Corsa SXI is a 1.2 and they kick out just over 80bhp so its not too much for a 1.2.
Clio's have excellent brakes, I nearly went through the windscreen when I first drove mine. Saxo's brakes are mainly wind resistance when you take your foot off the accelerator.
Im not sure about sensible but thats pretty much my take on the 182 vs 197 debate. I was partly winding Seb up though, I do like them I must admit, but if I was after a 'hot hatch' I would probably save my money and get a 182 as I wouldnt want something as grown up as the 197.
I wonder if they...
