has it got your name on it??
do any of your neighbours own a fords,
id leave it a while before you try and flog them
im sure somebody will come looking for them,
and they have your address lol
you'll need an adapter, your local audio shop should have them
you can get one for the audio stalk,
as for the display,
its only VERY few headunits that will do this,
and i dont believe alpine headunits do,
i thought they only took the number back if you didnt use it for 6months??
tbh if you dont use the number for that long, its in your terms and conditions for them to take it back,
dnt think its any fault on o2s behalf
turn them into furniture,
then take them to the tip
then claim theyre household waste not car parts :P
tbh, sum1 on ebay will probaby give you £10 for them,
just arrange a time for them to get them
sunday or something
pretty sure its splines m8,
but id defs double check the tracking,
if somebody has the knowhow to change a steering wheel,
i think theyd manage to get it straight,
previous owner may have sprung a porkie to avoid telling you he planted it into a kurb,
hope not tho.
tbh,
that amp is a speaker amp, and tbh, doesnt look to suitable for what your after,
if the sub says 450wrms, you should aim for an amp a little higher than the sub,
anything else, and your just not going to be happy with the result,
and probably over do it on the gain just to get the thump...
ive also read that, much like the backs of some trucks,
they look lethal,
one had the bar with the lights on it, sticking out the back further than any other part of it
about the same hight as my head,
10mph crash from the wrong angle and id have been decapatated!!
if its taken off all properly,
and the numberplaces cable tied over the front,
im not sure theyre going to believe me,
bear in mind i live in essex :rasp:
tbh, thers nothing on there thats particularly dangerous,
just the slam pannel and rad,
just hope i dont run into any emergencies
Re: Brake light always lit...
have you cleaned the connection to that light up??
the plug that goes into the bulb holder has a record of corroding and shorting random lights out,
2 brake lights?? i thought u said the left rear sidelight came on while braking?
its meant to be rivited to the underside of your bumper,
coupla screws??
i just ripped mine off and left it off,
renault have a habbit of over engineering theyre cars lol
have you got a rear strut brace??
because they creek like nothing on earth when your cornering,
perhaps the rubber bits may be on theyre way out,
powerflew ones!
looks like a rover 25 with a bodykit ;)
jokes i quite like the look of them,
but prefer the older ones,
ull never get good trade with mot due,
especially a convertable in the winter too :(
so for an amature attempting colour coding,
would you suggest getting the cellulose high build primer??
do you have to put normal primer on after that??
of can you paint over that primer??
pardon my endless questions, i just dont want to get it wrong
after reading that, i think i might leave the ridge in there,
really dont want it to come out s**t,
is there anywhere youd reccomend to get the high build primer??
or would halfrauds suffice?
i agree with domjolly,
35mm wont satisfy you,
i did 60mm on standard springs, year and no problems, glad i went for 60,
also my rear lights,
living in dorst you should be alright,
i live in essex and been warned to get them off about 3 times now,
so theyre going tomorrow, just not worth the...
after reading FM-696's guide to painting (great guide btw, will be following it to the letter)
i realise im not gonig to be able to do a proper paint job on my front bumper without taking it off :(
now this leaves me with an obvious problem,
i dont need the car next week, but in case theres...
