i think its your wiring thats holding you back atm, 'a chain is only as strong as its weakest link' so true with audio, explains why you need to upgrade you earth when you add a bigger wiring kit. by the looks for thing, i think you wiring kit is the weakest link in your chain, then battery.

can do what i did, get a can of tint spray, spray you back lights black, then swap them with some chav for theyre ph2 lights at a cost of £5 :D

you can change just the plastic lights over (keep the same bulb holders) will fit with some small modification, however on the ph2 the swapped the brake/sidelight and foglight over, so the lights will light up in the wrong cluster, still red though, other option is to buy the ph2 bulb holders...

erm, do you back lights have a silver circle in the middle?? if so its a ph2, if the lights are solid red, its a ph1, also, is your front badge on the bonnet?? if so its a ph1, if its on the grill/bumper, its a ph2 hope this helps

what about speakers and headunit?? and wiring lol for amp id suggest, JBL 1201.1, can still get them on ebay, amazing value for money amp, as for the rest look on sites such as car audio direct

for power wire, you could probably get away with 4awg, and then 8awg from the block, or 2awg and 4awg if you want to be safer, what fuses do the amps have in them?? you can use the existing speaer wire for your speakers, but if you want to upgrade, id use 12awg, also, dont forget, what ever...
