Something more of a toy mate - I loved the Clio as a daily driver, but now it's not used every day I see it as a bit of a waste - It needs using more than I use it lol. So after 4 years it's time to let someone else enjoy it :)

Subframe off to change the rack - about 4 hours labour.
Rack from Renault approx £500, aftermarket probably £200-£250 ish

Good cheap run around, front bumpers a little tatty, but interior is good, and engine and box is spot on. Iv been down to Devon in it and it was comfortable and did over 40 mpg

As Fred has said, you need to research and choose the right place, Iv done the same rally experience 4 times now as you get maximum time in the cars, and you are taught not only how to drive them properly, but you really use them hard, 0-60 in 4 secs on gravel is fun ;)

No, the ph1 limter when warm should be:
1st gear :7200 rpm
2nd gear: 7200 rpm
3rd gear : 7000 rpm
4th :7000 rpm
5th : 7000 rpm
The clio's change the timing at circa 1800 rpm, and back again circa 5800 rpm.
The '5k kick' is simply where the engine reaches its volumetric efficiency...
