theyd still be the same webbing material,
and the stiching isnt likley to be a place where theyd skimp,
it would be the buckle id worry about,
bt tbh, id call and ask if theyre e marked,
my harnesses are TRS, theyre fia approved,
but they still have a little label with the E marking on it...
it will sound completely different if you move the cross over dial,
at 50hz (usually the lowest setting)
the amp will amplify any frequency below 50hz (deeeep bass)
at 125hz (highest) the amp will amplify all frequency below 125hz,
that will normally catch some bits that arnt bass, so usually...
lol this is the exact story of mine,
fog, then indicator, then no idicator whislt breaking,
i just jiggled the connection and it stopped,
but sound like u may have to slice of the conector and wire a new one on
have a look at a clio on 17 with standard suspension,
it will make you chuckle,
i cant imagine what a clio on 18 with standard suspension would look like,
pretty laughable im sure,
i had to pull my rear weather guards out just to get 17s on there,
18 will need some serious work as they will...
tbh, im not looking at any kind of performance on my 1.2 8v
ive come to terms with the fact its slow,
i have looked at the ktec stealth,
but it just seems abit pricey.
cheers for your replies people, i think ill go along to pipecraft as see what they say,
by picking off a corner,
and...
i was thinking that,
however i like the idle 'rumble'
also, the exhaust ive got at the moment would not be viable to get it modified,
can anyone give an idea of price for pipecraft to make an exhaust??
or do they only moddify them??
basically, im on a bit of a de-chaving spree
(tints off, black rear lights changed for ph2 ones)
i have a rediculous remus twin exit exhaust
that i want too see the back of,
what i really want, is an exhaust like the standard one,
that cannot be seen,
however i like the noise of putting...
awesome thread,
people are flashing you because your blinding them!
i got a face full of badly adjusted headlights/full beam tonight,
hard to see and it stings ur fecking eyes,
really annoying when your tryin to pull over to give way!
if people are flashing you this much,
it sounds like...
i just took the bolt out the bottom,
let the seatbelt fully retract, then stuff it all through that lol,
then i later just pulled the c pillar out, too the bolts off and took the entire seatbelt out
the last picture of the wires,
are the other end of those wires connected to the amp or the car??
i think u have to put the blue one back on the amp,
and tape up the other 4 to stop them shorting out,
and run a set of rca (phono) cables to the headunit and plug it into either the rear or sub...
i must admit,
i do have blue neons in my footwells,
and i do occasionally turn them on,
put them in a couple of years ago,
and never bothered taking them out lol
some just plug into the pre-out,
and the rca (that would have plugged into the preout)
plugs into it,
also known as a universal one,
it sounds like you have this kind of one.
tbh mate,
if you want to upgrade,
the best thing to do, is go out,
and listen to other peoples sound system,
if you havent got the car already, how do u know u wont like the sound the speakers produce??
a good speaker (to a degree) is down to personal opinion really, some people like speaker...
what kinda bass controller is it??
some plug in between the headunit and rca cables,
others just plug into the side of the amp like mine,
you have a pic of the bass controller??
would help
i had this issue with my jvc avx1
just patience and stuffing,
unlike my ripspeed screen that got a trim :)
though i would never suggest doing it to a headunit worth money
theres two wires going to the pretensioner,
hard to go wrong really,
does 3 ohm work??
is it different for different models,
ive read so many different resistor values for this,
non of which have worked so far
set of preout addapters,
though this is far from ideal,
run a wire from the ignition live for a remote wire,
but this will mean the sound it amplified twice,
could you not look into some standard looking headunits??
i believe it needs to go between the two wires that lead to the pretensioners,
im guessing you want rid of the sev light and airbag light,
ive tried this over and over,
bt atm theyve failed n im greated with a service light every time i start the car,
ill be followin this,
free bump lol
have you not go any axle stands??
or anything that would take the weight??
those jacks are for changing wheels only lol,
my mate put a stack of newspapers under his car,
but wood or anything that wont crush will do fine
you have to get the oil pumped in,
unless you have the pump itll be a garage or a mate to do it
its like a tube with a plunger one end, and a lil injector at the other,
theres a small hole in the top of your gearbox for it do screw into,
no you can do it any other way,
we tried that aswell
lol it says in the haynes manual in big bold letters
BE CAREFUL NOT TO PULL ON THE DRIVESHAFT,
numpty that helped me fit my springs did the same thing,
all i did was pop the rubber seal over the driveshaft again, and put a new clip on it,
you dont really need a huge amount of gearbox oil
i...
