your views on a cup thats for sale

Well you're probably looking at chucking at least £500 at it plus a bit more also as i doubt you'll want that crap pipe? Personally if they're asking £2500 i think thats a fair price but would certainly get that down to nearer the £2k mark Even if you spend a grand on it after paying £2500...

    My 2001 ph1 Clio 172 on eBay

Due to the odd scrapes etc i agree with others and would say it wouldn't fall into the 'Mint' catagory but if the service history and mileage are all adding up ok then it seems like a fairly good example (personally not £3000 good). I know i am slightly biased but i don't think you can compare...

    Is a Cup, 1k better than a PHS 1??

Owned both (currently own a Ph1) and personally think the Ph1 is way better considering the price difference - not worth the added £'s if you ask me. But then again if you've got Cup money and you simply prefer them for reasons others have mentioned then get a Cup.

    Alarm issue

The alarm on my Fiance's 182 has decided to go off at late at night for the last 2 nights, strangely it's been at approx the same sort of time 2.30-3.00am. Now Sunday night it went off so i grabbed the keys and ran to the window and disarmed it then armed it again. BUT then about 10 mins later...

How long do you leave your car before washing?

until it's dirty and falls on a weekend really, not going to bother this weekend as it's snowed and i live on a hill so would cause a downhill ice rink.

(NOT) Diesel in a 182 - Electrical issues??

Re: Diesel in a 182 about 18months ago i had put a deposit down on the Integra that i susequently bought. I went to pick it up early in the morning before work (about 7am). Got it in and checked the fuel guage, was on just under quarter of a tank, which would have been plenty to get me home but...

Cat D Megane 225 in Birmingham

Was just reasing through all your responses when my phone rang, my mate ringing to say he's outside in his new car. It's dark so couldn't have a proper look but he said the Cat D was for a minor rear shunt which the seller had photo's of. He was apparantly a middle ages chap. My mate was put...
