Well as my missus was working today i decided to take the car out for a spin around the country rounds and take some snaps seeing as i washed it yesterday.
What an idiot i was it was bloody freezing and i had to work quick as it kept trying to freeze if i took too long, me and the shamois had...
Quick question:
Do the steering wheels vary in the 182's?
I have seen most have the little plastic piece at the bottom whereas my missus' does not and is just wheel (it's not missing).
No idea but AF in general are sh#i if you ask me, my experience with them has put me right off using them forever.
imo steer clear and shop about, if they turn out to be the cheapest make sure you compare the cover etc i.e. the cheapest is not always the best.
Can only be out of 4 for me as i've only ever either owned or driven the following:
Ph1
172
172 Cup
182
my winner personally it defo the Ph1 - feels the most aggresive which i like although having said that 2 of the above aren't/weren't standard so my vote probably doesn't count lol
Excellent, i thought so but just wanted some confirmation.
Only think is i think the F1's will look very small as it's at the standard Cup ride height, would love to whack some coilies on hers but our drive is a b**ch - it could fit both our cars on it but as it's so steep she can only get...
Wouldn't mind swapping my F1's on my Ph1 over with my missus' 182 wheels to see how they look on hers, i am right in thinking it's a straight swap i.e. easy peasy???
2005 - 182 Cup
2001 - Ph1 172
The heat sheild that sits above the back boxes on my Fiances 182 is rattling as by the looks of it a corner where it's fixed has snapped.
Whats the best option to repair/remedy this?
My missus reminded me last night that only last year following alarm issues Renault had to replace the whole Alarm system (under warranty).
Now i would hazard a guess it's over 12 months ago so would this new system still be under some kind of warranty?
MINT Bonnet i love it, however................
Not meaning to sound harsh but the 'Rat' look only really works on cars that are of a "show" standard and is added as a final touch.
I think it would just look plain crap on yours imo. So it's a no from me!
